The saints had a setback last yr. Expect them to be back to form from a couple yrs ago with a better defense, and they were in the nfc championship game that yr. 11-5 or 12-4 in a weaker division. Keep on the lookout for a guy named pierre thomas, everyone will know that name after this yr.

What will the Cleveland Browns record be?

To me they look like the 2008 version of the 2007 Saints and 2006 Bengals, a team which won 10 or 11 games against a weak 4th place schedule and then get anointed as world beaters the following season. All of these teams have had good offenses but fatally flawed defenses which hurt them against stronger opposition.

So are you buying the hype and what do you think their record will be?

Yes, she's classified, in the state as Parda (White european, west african, native american). You cannot classify people from Brazil as hispanics. We are not hispanics. We speak portuguese lol from Portugal. And portuguese, italians and germans are the biggest euro ethnic, mixed or not, in the country. Not a lil linked with spain.

Edit : Agreed, JM. Phenotype is something complicated, though. Braziliam mulattoes and pardos had loads african and euro admixture in the history. The amount africans who despaired of the country in it's purity and the amount natives (60% west africans, 34% europeans and native american and east asians, after 2 centuries), There might have 8 african parents + 8-10 europeans + 1 or 2 natives as well.

That's how it's said in our history and DnA. I think about 25% mulattas had 1 or 2 native american parents. 11% white population and 8% black population.

Will Drews Brees or Kurt Warner beat Marino's single season passing record of 5084 yards?

They are both on pace to come pretty close, if they stay at the pace they are on they will be about 100-200 yards out, which means that one above average game could give them the push to beat Marino's 24 year old record. The closest anyone has ever come is Warner himself in 2001 with 4830 yards.

I think brees can, warner will have his team in the playoffs in about a week so the cards might give some rest to the starters in the late weeks so warner wont be around by then. I think brees will break the record, if bush and colston remain healthy he will, the defense is really bad so they have to pass the ball almost all game long because they always fall behind really early.and you are right they dont have a running game so i think he might be just around that mark.

Brady had a fast start with almost 1000 yards in two games but in the last two games he didn't attempt as many passes, Brees has been more consistent with and at least 44 attempts and 350 yards in all but one game.

Im gonna with with Adrian Peterson, I mean the guys always has to deal with 8 men in the box and he still runs all over everybody, he leads the league rushing yards, what more can i say. Without AP the vikings would not be tied for the divison or even close to a playoff chance.

A lot of people will say Drew Brees and I disagree, yea he throws for a lot of yards and was on pace to break Dans passing record, but honeslty look at the Saints record is it helping them at all? And he has a good game one week than the next week he throws two interception so I dont think he desreves the title

The Saints won a total of 3 games in 05, Brees lead them to a 10-6 record and an NFC title game, with essentially the same team + surprise rookies Jahri Evans and Marquis Colston(7th rounder).

Donovan McNabb in 2006 lead the entire league in most pass statistics, amounting an impressive 2,647yds, 18td's, 6int's, 95.5 through 10 games, on pace for a 4,200+yds/29td's season. This while newly acquired Donte Stallworth missed 3 games early on, thus relying on Reggie Brown(nuff said)..

Tom Brady in 2006(was this the year of the overachiever?), 3,529tds, 24td's, 12int's, 87.9qbr - Pats traded late draft pick to Oakland for Doug Gabriel, who was ineffective through five starts and eventually succeeded by Reche Caldwell in week 4. Drew Brees is the best Free Agent signing ever and he turned around a perennially losing franchise, but remember 2005 was the year after Katrina and they played the entire season on the road. Otherwise this could have been a 7-9 or 8-8 team.

I have to say Marino had the worst supporting cast of any Hall of Famer, his best receivers were Duper and Clayton, and he had no running game.

John Elway at the beginning of his career took three average teams to the Super Bowl.

Do you think the current rules in the NFL protecting Quarterbacks and Receivers is ruining the game?

Look back even 10-15 years ago. The greats like Dan Marino, John Elway, Steve Young....what were there stats like. A good year for any of them during that time period would consist of stats of 55-60% completion, 3500+yards, 22+ touchdowns, and 14 or less interceptions. These were the greats of that era. Now look at todays top Quarterbacks, Of course Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will always have great stats no matter what the rules and regulations are because they are that good, but take a look at some of the other top qb's. Kyle Orton is a smart quarterback with above average accuracy and mediocre arm strength who can become panicked if his first two reads are covered. He is leading the NFL at this moment in passing yards. Drew Brees is a more accurate than Orton, but otherwise is actually a mediocre QB in terms of skill set as well. Joe Flacco is Ok, Mark Sanchez is OK, Matt Ryan is OK..... so why are they among the top of the nfl in stats? Take a look at around 2003-2006 and take notice of the drastic increase in QB production in that time frame and beyond into the current day. The current rules have had an amazing effect in a league where ok qb's have been gift wrapped an average of 10-15 qb rating points. Again, a good year for John Elway would have been with a rating of 85-90. if that was the case today, Elway would be out of a job. Now think backwards with the current talent. Put Kyle Orton in the 90's and he would never be given a starting job becasue with the rules of that time, DB's could bump and grind and smash receivers all day long and given Orton's arm strength, he would never be able to consistently get the throws in on time or accurate enough to be an effective QB.

Even putting someone like Manning back into the era of Marino, Elway and Young, and his stats would drop to around the previously mentioned range at the beggining of this Article. What I want to know is, does anyone else think that the current rules are alowing mediocrity to become the standard instead of weeding the weak out?

Do you consider Reggie Bush a bust (Saints fans not need answer I know your love for Bush is endless)?

I do not think so, sure his stats are umm pedestrian to put it nicely, but look at what he brings to the Saints, coming out the back field nobody can cover him even the best DBs have trouble with him.
If Brees hits Bush in open field hes gone pretty much a guaranteed TD or a huge gain. Running the ball, sure he doesn't gain a lot of yards on average,but if he can beat the corners and linebackers around the edge it usually results in a 1st down or better. Lined up in the slot hes a nightmare for the defense and a extremely potent weapon in the passing game, and Reggie Bush and Drew Brees go together like PB&J.
So do you think he is a bust if so why? If ever seen a Saints game you know Bush may not be the best at his position but he makes some of the most explosive plays in he NFL today.

He has had a solid career, but he was supposed to be the next Barry Sanders when NO drafted him out of USC.

Tabatha, from Shear Genius on Bravo, looks really really freaky.

She looks just like two girls at my school, and they've said it's a birth defect or something, but haven't specified.

So I guess that wasn't very delicate of me, but what disease/syndrome/condition makes people look like that?

The birth defect you are refering to is called acromegaly , in which the bones of a person grow more wide than they are supposed to.. Its most obvious in the face.. Since these people have a huge slanting kind of forehead.
The fictional :" beast" aka vincent .. Of the movie and book " beauty and the beast " had acrromegaly ( not the disney cartoon)
Anyway.. Tabitha does NOT have acromegaly.. She just appears odd looking as she has platinum blond short hair and pale skin which make her features appear very blurred.. In addition she has very small eyes and lips with a pursed mouth and shiny forehead.. This probaly is what give her that grim scary look..
Although i think she tries to look that way on purpose to intimidate people

DART Bus Schedule: How do I get where?

I live in Delaware (obviously). I need to get from Rodney Square to Philadelphia Pike & Franklin Avenue. All I know is I would be using the Route 1 DART bus, but I have no idea how to figure out this bus schedule. It's confusing me because there isn't a section that specifically says Rodney Square. I've seen Rodney Square 11th street & King street but I don't even know what that is. Can someone help me on how to figure out what time I would need to be on the bus if I wanted to get of (at Philadelphia Pike & Franklin Ave.) by 9-10:00 a.m

According to the DART system map, the boundaries of Rodney Square are Market, King, 10th and 11th Streets in downtown Wilmington. So when you are leaving from there you would wait at the bus stop on 11th St at King St. Not all route 1 buses go all the way to Franklin Avenue. You would need to take one that is going as far as Claymont Train Station or Tri-State Mall (the closest time point shown on the timetable is at Darley Rd, which is a bit past where you want to go). On weekdays, if you want to arrive between 9:00 and 10:00 AM, you would have to take the bus from downtown leaving 11th/King at 8:40 or 9:12 (both of these trips go to Tri-State Mall).

Was i wrongfully labeled as voluntary quit by my employer?

I had worked at Burger King for 2 weeks now. I called in 4 hours in advance on Saturday and Sunday to report being ill and it would be noticeable for customers and easily spread to others even with washing periodically due to constant sneezing (i sneeze really loud its embarrassing). On Weds. March 10 (1 of 2 days off), I received a voice mail from day assistant manager stating i was supposed to be at work. I return a phone call to let day assistant manager know i am not scheduled because the day before i had written my schedule and had it in front of me! I even asked who made the schedules and the morning supervisor was present said if you want more hours (cause i wasn't schedule weds march 10 and march 11)! The manager considered Thursday March 11 a no-show and no-call. I assumed she meant Wed March 10. Still I was NOT working on my days off weds March 10 and thurs March 11. The manager insisted schedule had not changed and felt i missed the day by accident and said to me "you know i haven't change schedules since last month because i was on vacation. No one else touches the schedules you know that! I'm always correct with my schedules and the computer doesn't lie. I also wanted to ask you if your sick you can still come in. I was hearing people telling me where is the new girl and why hasn't she shown up? I'm going to write you up with a first warning and you will sign that you understand the rules". I let the manager know i reported to the right people and i was not going to show up on my day off. i want going to show up ill and be sent home anyway. the health inspector had made it clear no one to be on the establishment when ill or possibly starting to be ill. I am aware on the first offense is a verbal warning and the manager takes note in my file that we discussed verbally. the second offense is a written warning and my signature. I asked why second offense? i did not get a reply. instead i was told to call 4 hours in advance next time and if im still ill to get a doctors note. Still on the phone with the manger I said i was still ill and needed to take off Friday March 12, Saturday March 13 and Sunday March 14 because I was ill. I had till Sunday March 14 before noon to get a doctors note. Saturday March 14 i got doctors note. I made copies and turned it in. Monday was my day off and Tuesday March 16 I was scheduled but i didn't call in or showed up. Today March 17. I called in today because i am scheduled for work but couldn't make it because my car broke down. Of course my manger didn't believe me and i asked my manager to either help pick me up or ask someone else at work to pick me up. Instead the manager said "you had already voluntary quit".

You had worked 2 weeks and by the 3rd was sick or had car trouble for almost the entire week, so not reliable anymore. Granted this being food, they don't want someone that is contagious, but sneezing and being off so many days and not working, sounds like you were not that sick and only went to the doctor since they required a doctors note, which in most companies if you call in sick, many will require you to get after 2 days.

You are not going to like my answer, but based on what you stated, I'm sorry, my conclusion is that you really did not want to work and are looking for excuses.

Manning, Brees and Brady are all going to resign and get 5 years 100-110 million! Anything more would likely force their teams to cut other players.

Remember Brady took something like 10mil/year last time so that the Pats could use the money in other ways to help the team, I think it worked. 2010 uncapped year may incentivize some franchises to spend crazy money. I'm not sure what would stop the Pats or Colts from signing a 1 year 50mil deal then resign again in 2011 (if not locked out) for more reasonable money!

The 2010 and uncertain 2011 seasons are major problems or forcasting long term deals.

We go to a bar that is right down the street a lot called Lucys. I love that bar. Vic's Kangaroo Cafe is very close to Lucys. There is also the Republic(more of a nightclub feel but a lot bands play there), Red Eye, Dinos, Ernst Cafe

Restaurants- Cochon, Tommys, Rock n Sake, Rio Mar, Ugly Dog Saloon BBQ, Gordon Biersch Brewery, Cafe Adelaide, Ernst Cafe, Cuvee Restaurant, Grand Isle Restaurant, Herbsaint.

If you eat in the quarter eat red beans and rice at Old Coffee Pot Restaurant(they also have great po boys and breakfast). Old Coffee Pot restaurant has my favorite red beans in the city!!!!!!! Irenes in the quarter is also yummy( It is owned by the ex-wife of tommys restaurant). Yo mamas bar has the best burgers. Clover Grill is 24 hours, and Coops in another good place.

I am coming to NO for New Year's and Sugar Bowl and as i will be needing a place just To CRASH i think it is a waist of money to spend a lot in getting a hotel for $400--$600 for 3 nights.
is there anything or a cheap place you guys suggest that would save me money ? or like staying with someone at the French quarter for a smaller fee ?

Well, best place to stay would be over in Mississippi at one of the Casinos. Hard Rock just opened a very nice one. Its about a hour drive to the Superdome from any of the casinos. I would check it out. Most of the casinos will probably be offering a game day shuttle service as well. And Mississippi can use the tourism money just the same as N.O.

I live in the area. And will be driving over that day for the game. Go Mizzou

Questions About Kings Tickets Exchange

HELP! I can't print my Kings tickets from Team Exchange?

So I bought tickets for LA Kings. So I went and logged in and went to my account and clicked Print Tickets. Then they said you have to like download them to print them so I did. But it didn't work. It was just a bunch of jibberish. So I read it and they said you have to download some Adobe Reader. So I did and to complete installation, I had to restart FireFox and it recovered my Tabs, but then the ticket status showed up as "Printed" and now I can't go back and Print them. I wrote to them already but what do you guys think?

E-Mail.....or call their box office and they can just have them at will call for you.

I have actually bought tickets that were supposed to be mailed to me.......and they didn't arrive in time so I just went to the box office and they printed them off for me and when I got home, they were in the mail box.

Doesn't really matter to them because the barcode scan will only work once.

Just make sure you bring ID and the credit card you used to make the purchase.

How can I get a refund on these tickets?

I had tickets for the John Mayer concert in Hershey 7/25 which was rescheduled to 8/5 the same day I have tickets for Kings of Leon. I have called ticketmaster, and they claim the tickets I have for Kings of Leon are non-refundable and non-transferable. I would like to go to this John Mayer concert, and get a refund or exchange for my Kings of Leon tickets, as I have seen Kings of Leon before and I have never seen John Mayer. I have been offered a refund on my John Mayer tickets. Originally, I had planned to re-sell my Kings of Leon tickets for the 5th, go to John Mayer, and buy tickets for Kings of Leon two days later at another venue. Any ideas on how I can get a refund or exchange these tickets?

The only agency who can refund or exchange the tickets is the one you bought them from and they have told you they won't do that. You can try to sell the tickets to someone else but Ticketmaster is not obligated toaccommodatee your personal desires. They sold you the Kings of Leon tickets in good faith and are willing to make up for the John Mayer SNAFU, but not for something they are not responsible for. Go ahead to the Kings concert and try to see Mayer next time.

Exchange student from Spain, what can we do to make it a fun experience for her?

Last August I went to Spain for a week hoping to improve my Spanish and also to have a good time living with a Spanish family and experiencing their life in San Sebastian. I found it great fun and our parents have organized for her to come and live with us for 4 or 5 days in the middle of August. We live in Buckinghamshire so we are close to London.

Any ideas of activities that would be fun for her, but also that will help her learn the most English as possible. Here is what I have thought of so far:

London Eye
Madame Tussuad's
London Dungeons
Westfield shopping centre
Lion King (at the theatre, if we can get tickets)
Air Cadets (I go every Monday and Wednesday, it's fun =] )

First of all, do not overwhelm her with activities, perhaps one big or two smaller activities a day is more than enough. Give her time to talk and to get to know your family. If you have pictures from your own earlier trip, try labeling them with names and captions in English.. Either put together an album or just put the captions on the back of the photos. A walk or ride , window shopping etc. Can be calm, interesting, and help you both get to practice your speaking skills. Also, communicate with her. What does she want to do? Does she have a special interest in something ? For example is she interested in exploring caves? Try Chislehurst caves? Does she have fantasies of being a royal? Take her to Windsor castle. Does she like history, museums, shopping or what? Maybe get some of those little pamphlets about activities and events and send those to her ahead of time. You can communicate by snail mail or e mail to work out an agenda which will suit her interests. This will also encourage her to look forward to the trip. We have had more than a dozen exchange students from 3 days to a full school year. Each one is different. Relax, be yourself and talk.

Ticketmaster ordering?

I ordered on line internet 2 adults tickets to Lion King a few weeks ago and not being computer sauvy I rolled through alot of pages and hit submit only to find that I got wrong Dates and attempted to Cancel and even sent email back to Ticketmaster who did not respond. I did'nt know how to get back to last page that gave me the results so I wrote email to American Express and complained to them since I ordered via AX. They came back last week saying they basically could not do anything, but gave me results of what they did which was not much so I ended up losing over $115.00 cash without any return Refund or Exchange per Ticketmasters policy. I got nothing and did not pick up tickets!!!
Has any one out there got Burned like me and want to follow up with lawsuit??? Vince---4-17-9 I will check back in couple days to see if there are anhone else who would like to persure futher??

YOU did not fully check the dates before hitting "submit" and purchasing the tickets - neither Ticketmaster nor Amex has any responsibility to refund you any money for YOUR mistake.
