Questions About Peyton Manning Injury

Sandra asks…

Are you kinda tired of this Peyton Manning injury talk?

Every day you hear about Mannings neck injury or his possiblity of not playing for the colts. Do you ever get tired of it?

admin answers:

If you are tired then go watch Lifetime or E!. If you are hearing this on the radio then go listen to one of the country music stations instead of sports

Betty asks…

How much would an injury to Peyton Manning or Drew Brees affect the NFL?

I don't wish this kind of thing to happen. However, these two guys are constantly talked about at the moment and are two biggest faces of the NFL. If one was to fall down injured, how would affect the NFL as a whole? Thoughts and opinions?

admin answers:

As a Colts fan I don't even want to think about Peyton Manning getting injured. It would be devastating and a big blow to our team. I actually think we could still be a 9-7 or 10-6 team with Jim Sorgi at QB though because just like the Patriots with Matt Cassel last year we have the peices in place to be sucessful. Sorgi played well last year when he started in the last game when we rested our starters.

But for the NFL it'd be worse to see Peyton Manning get injured than Tom Brady. Alot of people find Peyton Manning the most exciting QB if not player in the NFL to watch run the offense. It'd just feel wierd to have the Colts and the NFL without Peyton Manning.

What Jeff B touched on was good too. The competitve nature would suffer but the NFL is bigger than any single player. That's what makes the NFL so successful. It's not like the NBA suffering if Lebron James or Kobe Bryant gets injured.

The NFL is successful no matter who's injured. The competitive would suffer a little because people would'nt want to see backup QB's start like its the preseason but there are plenty of star QBs in the NFL today

As for the Saints they'd fall apart and be an under .500 team if Drew Brees went down. The quality of the QB position in the NFC would fall alot

Donald asks…

How will the Colts perform this year with the injury due to Peyton Manning's injury?

And you notice something about my question? I didn't mention my favorite teams for once!

admin answers:

That's one for the department of redundancy department.

Thomas asks…

Is the knee that required surgery Peyton Manning's first significant injury?

I can't recall Manning as having been sidelined for any other injury requiring surgery, even at Tennessee.

It is his first injury, and how will it affect his season?

Marvin Harrison had a similar injury last season...

admin answers:

Well, if it plays out like Harrison's injury.....

He will shoot some guy at his car wash.

Joseph asks…

Do you think the injury to Rodney Harrison played a huge role in Peyton Manning winning the AFC Championship?

I'm sorry! I meant to say the Indianapolis Colts winning the AFC Championship. Peyton did not do anything, but get his @ss picked off by Asante Samuel. That was fun watching!

Had it not been for the injury to stong safety Rodney Harrison, Peyton Manning would have bitched and whined like the baby that his is. Just to let Colt fans know, Rodney Harrison picked off Peyton Manning in the Patriots 20-3 AFC Chapionship win in 2005, leaving Peyton to shed tears in the rain. In 2004, Ty Law and Rodney Harrison did the same s**t to Manning in the AFC Chapionship--Law with three interceptions and Harrison with one.

I want Peyton Manning to realize that his championship was a total fluke. The Indianapolis Colts are the same team to injure Rodney Harrison, making it the easy way of not having to compete against the New England Patriots.
How would Peyton Manning like it if the Patriots injured Marvin Harrison?

admin answers:

Well, of course anytime rodney harrison goes down it pays a huge toll. I mean, you cant really say in any game that if he was there they still would have lost. 1 player can do a lot for a football team. He was the emotional leader for them, so they definitely would have had a much better chance of winning that game.
