Couple of problems:

1) I'm not sure how the Jets are going to be better than they have been and go 13-3. They only have 3 WR's, and 2 of them are over the age of 34, and the defense has no DE's, to go along with a young right side of the offensive line. I think they will be lucky to make the playoffs.

2) How exactly are the Browns going to win 7 games?

3) Since when have the Texans won 10 games? Never. And until they can play defense, every year is always going to be, "next year".

4) I can see the Raiders winning the division (2nd in rushing, 2nd in sacks last year), but I still wouldn't bet against the Chargers. Chiefs may have won it last year, but they only beat 1 team with a .500 or better record all season, and that was in Week 1.

5) Tampa isn't going to win 12 games. They won 10 games last year, and only beat 1 team with a .500 or better record, and that was the final game of the season! 6 of those wins came against teams that were picking in the top 7 of the NFL draft. They'll be competitive, but I think they'll be lucky to win 7 or 8 games.

6) I'm sorry, but the Jets are not going to the Super Bowl. I can see the Saints there, but not the Jets.

Daniel asks…

Colts fans, what do you think of the 2011-2012 schedule?

I'm wondering what other Colts fans are thinking about the Colts schedule this season? What is your prediction? What do u think the Colts record will be? Overall, what games on the schedule do you think will be an easy win or close game? I'm excited about Colts/Saints game...superbowl rematch lol. Hate that its in New Orleans though.... :(

BQ: Favorite Colts game you're looking forward to this season??

admin answers:

I think the Colts have a tough schedule. We have a couple of tough games against the Ravens, and the Saints. I think we end up losing to both of those teams. They have very good defenses and I expect them to put pressure on Peyton Manning. The other two losses, I think come from the Patriots and the Steelers. Both teams have shown in the past to have an answer for Manning, and I think overall both teams will end up being playoff contenders. I think even though the season will be relatively tough, the Colts have enough to make it to 12-4 and win the division. The Jags are always a tough team, but I like the Colts to sweep that divisional series, and I can't see the Texans or Titans being a threat. I like the Colts to get back in the AFC for a shot at the super bowl, especially if the team is healthy.

As far as my favorite game, I think I am most excited about the Patriots/Colts match up. That seems to be a newly started rivalry and its always fun to watch both teams in that battle because it is a classic slug fest. Both teams have high powered offenses, and I think we will see another shoot out. I don't really think we can win that game, but it will be close. I am hoping the Colts will make it to the super bowl but because of the Steelers/Ravens/Jets it won't be that easy.

Laura asks…

my 2011-2012 nfl prediction what do you think?

AFC:
north-ravens
south-texans
east-patriots
west-raiders
wildcards-steelers and colts

NFC:
north-packers
south-saints
east-giants
west-seahawks

playoffs:
wildcard rounds
ravens vs colts 24-21 colts win OT
steelers vs raiders 21-17 raiders surprisingly win
divisional rounds
texans vs colts 28-21 texans win
patriots vs raiders 30-10 patriots win
AFC championship round
texans vs patriots 28-27 texans win

NFC
wildcard rounds
seahawks vs lions 21-16 lions win with comeback
giants vs falcons 21-17 giants win
divisional rounds
saints vs packers 28-17 saints
giants vs lions 34-10 giants win
NFC championship round
saints vs giants 17-28 saints win

superbowl 46:
saints vs texans 31-28 texans win OT

my reasons: first raiders beat steelers it will shock the world when raiders beat them in the playoffs. the lions making the playoffs shocks everyone but them getting past round 1 adds more to the shock but round 2 they get beat bad. the texans so far most improved team and will pull through with a 11-5 record to win AFC south but not expected to make the super bowl they do and win it. these 3 teams are on the must watch list for me as they will surprise everyone mainly texans
if you disagree saying some of these teams won't get close to making the playoffs or texans won't win the superbowl well this is my opinion after observing the teams so far and how could they not have a chance at the superbowl so what if they were bad last year. this year it will probably change by the time regular season comes and through out regular season.
as for the jets not in playoffs they are in the afc wildcard hunt but don't make it

admin answers:

I don't agree with everything you said, but most of it can definitely happen. The one big disagreement I have is that there is no way the Seahawks are winning the nfc west. They have the worst qb and a very average defense. Alex smith has way better stats than Tavaris Jackson!
