Questions About Van Halen Teacher Lyrics

Betty asks…

what are some of the sexiest songs/lyrics you know in a song?

for me im gonna have to go with:

Whole Lotta Love- Led Zeppelin (the lyrics crack me up, they are so funny!)
Rain Fall Down- Rolling Stones (have you seen the music video?.....DONT. haha)
Hot For The Teacher- Van Halen (duhhhhh)
and also
Panama- Van Halen (the guitar solo is the sexiest thing i've ever heard!! along with the lyrics.)
Closer- Nine Inch Nails (or maybe this one is just inappropriate? who cares.)
Touch Me Im Sick- Mudhoney (title...that does it for me)
Drain You- Nirvana ("Chew your meat for you, past it back and forth, in a passionate kiss, from my mouth to yours. i like you.")

phewwww!
what about you?

"Close to me" by the Cure is pretty damn sexy to me. Not so much the lyrics, but something about Robert's voice and the way he's constantly breathing.

Michael asks…

What is this song? Please help.?

I heard it a while ago and I can't remember the exact lyrics but I can remember small parts of it.
"stay away, Stay away from, Stay away from me?" and I believe it said something about her being "hot for teacher"? but thats all I could remember, it sounded like was an older song and it wasn't van halen it was pretty mellow-ish... if that makes sense Please if you can let me know.

Also , I googled the lyrics that came up and here's a list of songs that it is NOT:
Hot for teacher-van halen
Stay away-paramore
Stay away- the honorary title
... more but I'm honestly sick of typing
Oh and it was a group of males I believe they had a beetles sound

Mandy asks…

Is it possible for me to become a professional guitarist at my experience level? (Video links in details)?

Hey, I am 15 years old and have been playing since I was late 14 years old, which is about 8 months now. I really would like to become a professional guitarist in the future and I am greatly inspired by great guitarists like Marty Friedman (Megadeth former), Chris Broderick (Megadeth), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Eddie Van Halen, Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society), Dimebag Darrell (Pantera), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, and many others. Now here's some info about my playing so far in my 8 months of experience:

-I can play various solos such as Eruption, Spanish Fly, and the solos to Master Of Puppets, Tornado Of Souls, Hangar 18, Jump in the Fire, Gator Country, Stairway to Heaven, Freebird, and various Pantera/Metallica/Megadeth shredding/solo bits.
-I am self-taught
-I use online tablature.
-I play everyday, and just about all day.
-Many people think I'm really good.
-I am able to sweep pick and quite proficiently.
-Tapping is super easy for me.
-I can write my own solos, riffs, improv material (somewhat), and even lyrics.
-I do not know how to read sheet music =/

Now I would really like to be among the ranks of those great guitarists mentioned above in the future, I just would like to know how I can reach that status:

-How good should one be playing at my experience level?
-Am I doing well enough that I could be one of the greatest in the future? Like, am I on the right track?
-Is it important to know how to read sheet music?
-Is it better to have a guitar teacher or some sorts of hands on training?
-Am I ready to form a band? Would it be better to learn that way?
-Is there a good chance that I will become a great musician in the future?

Thank you very much for your time and input, here are a couple of my Youtube guitar covers, for a better understanding of the question for more accurate answers :)
1. Tornado of Souls (crudely done, I can play this a LOT better now): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4grw5RmrDM
2. Eruption (Also crudely done, I can play this better as well): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeTmVqh8m8k

Oh, and what are the chances of becoming a well known musician? I'm not expecting to become as big as Metallica or Van Halen or even Megadeth or Testament, just enough notoriety to be known from various palces in the world, or better.

You are DELUSIONAL. If you think you can be a great guitarist and all you can do is name drop and play TABS then you have YEARS fo work to do.. Maybe by the time you are 30 or 40 you MAY be good enough to be a guitarist IF YOU CAN LEARN HOW TO READ REAL MUSIC and stop playing those stupid TABS that the terminally LAZY and STUPID have to use because they are too stupid to learn how to read real music..

OH.. And STOP THE NAME DROPPING.. It doesn't impress ANYONE but YOU.

How well am I playing guitar for my experience level? (Video links in description)?

Oh, and I have been playing bass for about 2 months and I can play Peace Sells, Dawn Patrol, and Orion; am I doing well for bass as well? O.o

Put a shirt on

I encourage you to continue practicing for sure. You have much potential, but even the best guitarists should not think too highly of themselves. I suggest you get a teacher and slow down your practicing to a comfortable tempo to a metronome. Accuracy comes before speed.
